Community Childcare Subvention Programme now available in private childcare services
Limerick has been given an allocation of 121 subsidised childcare places in private childcare services. These places are spread across the city and county in services which have opted in to the CCSP Programme. Please contact our office directly for details of where it is available, as services are still joining this programme. Further details regarding eligibility for CCSP here.
A Guide to Early-Years Education-focused Inspection (EYEI) in Early-Years Settings Participating in the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) Programme (2016) was published on 11 April 2016.
The published Guide sets out the practices and procedures involved in the EYEI process which are effective from 11 April 2016. Limerick Childcare Committee supports Limerick Lifelong Learning Festival
This festival runs across Limerick City and County from Saturday 16th April to Friday 22nd April. To support the event, Limerick Childcare Committee is providing workshops on 'Basic First Aid for Parents' in 6 different venues during the festival.
