Capital funding announced for Early Years services

Application details are now available for Early Years Capital Funding 2017 (EYC2017). Applications may be made online via the PIP system commencing on Friday 24th March up to the closing date of 3 p.m. on Friday 21st April 2017.

The 2017 Early Years Capital Funding programme is to be made available to childcare centres, crèches and other early year services under three strands:
·    Strand 1: Additional childcare places (€3 million)
·    Strand 2: Building improvements and maintenance (€500,000) – for community based services only
·    Strand 3: Natural outdoor play areas (€500,000)

Any funding received must be spent and reported by 30th November 2017.
